How does it work?

Through this site you are able to borrow items from the Library which helps reduce waste, increases community cohesion and supports those who may not have the means to purchase the equipment or tools they require. The Llani Library of Things helps you save money and reduce waste by affordably renting out useful Things.  

Got a job or project in mind? Or fancy doing a fun activity?

  1. Browse our items or search for something specific. 

  2. If it’s available, place a reservation and you will receive an email confirmation.

  3. Collect your item from our location. We are opposite St. Idloes Church. Look for the large wooden double doors. Enter the car park and head towards the rear of the old post office building. Ring the door bell and someone will be there to meet you.

  5. Use your Thing and get stuck into your project.

  6. Collect or return your Thing during our open hours

  7. Friday and Saturday (DROP OFF ONLY) 10 - 2pm

  8. You will receive an email prompting you to return the Thing at the end of your loan period.
    You can borrow it for a further period by booking it out again, if it's available.

Who are we?

 Zero Carbon Llanidloes is a community led organisation looking at innovative, practical ways to tackle   climate change locally, whilst enabling the Mid-Wales town of Llanidloes and the surrounding areas to   continue to thrive and grow. We have set up this Library of Things in Llanidloes to support a more   sustainable lifestyle and increase community resilience.
